The Ranch

Recently, my sister Cindi and her husband Gary bought a "RANCH" (as Cindi likes to call it) not far from the lake where our lakehouse is. Its about 80 or so acres and is rugedly beautiful. Below are some of the pictures we took in February.

Entering the "Ranch"

A gorgeous old Oak Tree on the property. Thats Cindi, Tony and Gary standing next to it to give it scale. Its huge!

The old Windmill. Its not working now, but it is one of Garys projects.

An old tin beer can...couldn't resist taking a picture.

One of the many wooded areas. There is an old dry creek bed along these trees.....if we EVER get any rain, it may be a real creek.

Cindi in front of that great old Oak Tree. She loves it.

Another view of the old Windmill.

This old barn is just barely standing, but its very cool.

This roll of bailing wire has been there a very long time. I don't know if you can see it or not, but there is a tree that has grown through the wire.

The cactus is more than abundant on the land, but its gonna be beautiful in the spring when they all bloom.

Cindi and Gary have looked for years for the perfect little piece of the world they can work on and maybe someday retire to and call home, and I think they chose a wonderful place. They love this place and I can't wait to see what the future will bring. Good luck Cindi and Gary. I'm so glad you have your "Ranch".
